Dear Friends of On Target Ministry,

As we approach the end of the year, we are excited to see how God is still using this ministry for His glory in training national pastors overseas. The ministry in Colombia is going well and we are looking forward to more teaching there in 2024. The Haiti Bible Institute has reached the halfway point in training the pastors in Cohort 4. It is so encouraging to see the enthusiasm our pastoral students have for learning the Word of God.

As we are approaching the end of our 17^th year of ministry, we would love to share a few ways you can help us finish 2023 strong.

1. Look ahead on your calendar and plan to attend our “Love for Haiti” banquet February 10, 2024, at NOON at Fellowship Baptist Church in Lakeland, Florida. We have planned a great banquet for you to show you firsthand the success of the Haiti Bible Institute. We will have a guest speaker from Haiti. You will also hear from some of our Haitian Faculty.
2. Call, text, or email me that you plan to come so we can add you to the guest list. We planned this banquet for you, and I know it will be a blessing and encouragement to you to see how your investments in this ministry are advancing the cause of Christ. (715-558-2227 or [email protected])
3. If you cannot attend, please consider sending a special donation to On Target Ministry to help with the expense of Module 5 which takes place at the end of February 2024. This would be a great help to us to receive your special gift before yearend.
4. Invite someone to come to the banquet with you! What a great way to introduce someone to this unique ministry.
5. Pray that God will faithfully continue to meet our needs to carry on this important work.

Dear Friends,

Here is the latest edition of International Update. It is all about Haiti! We are going there next month to teach Module 4 to Cohort 4. In the newsletter you will read about the teachers, the students, the school, and the current political situation in Haiti. Please take a minute and read the letter and pray for us.

We are also in need of funds to cover the cost of the module. If you would prayerfully consider sending an extra gift to help us, we would be deeply appreciative. The school is 100% donor supported and your giving is essential to the success of the school. Even if you regularly support our ministry, an extra gift this month will go a long way in helping us reach our goal. Thank you for your help!

We will have four Haitian teachers teaching four courses. I will also be teaching Doctrine of the Bible. Pray for both teachers and students as they prepare for ministry in this needy country.

Pray that God will once again provide the necessary funds for Module 4 at the Haiti Bible Institute. We have seen God provide for the past 30 modules (15 years!) and we are trusting Him to provide once again.

Also see in the letter the important section “We Serve Together.” This ministry is a partnership with you, our donors, and this should be a strong encouragement to you as we serve together to accomplish the mission of training national pastors in Haiti. This is an investment that will reap eternal rewards.

Dear Friends,

Here is the latest edition of International Update. In this issue I have reported on the successful Module 3 of the Haiti Bible Institute. Read, enjoy, and praise God for His abundant provision.

The next trip is to Colombia in April 2023. Read about it, and remember to pray for us as we teach 40 resident students at the seminary and over 500 students watching online.

The next Haiti Module is in September 2023. Already $4,200 has been given to help pay for this module. Read about the opportunity you have to invest in the gospel outreach in Haiti.

Thank you to all of you who donated in honor of my mother’s promotion to her heavenly home. Your tribute to her is greatly appreciated and very encouraging.

My dear mother passed away into the loving arms of Jesus last week. This month’s newsletter is a tribute to her amazing life and ministry. Please read it and rejoice with us at her great testimony of faith in Christ.

Dear Friends of On Target Ministry and the Haiti Bible Institute,

In two weeks, Anna and I, along with Pastor Jack Jenkins and Dr. Rich Powell, will be traveling to Haiti to conduct Module 2 at the Haiti Bible Institute. We will be teaching the Students in Cohort 4. The purpose of this email is to urge you to pray for this module.

First, pray for the students and the professors. We have a great group of faithful men in this cohort who are eager to learn truth and teach it in Haiti. We will also be using two of our HBI graduates to teach two of the courses. Pray for them to teach the truth we have taught them clearly and passionately.

Second, pray for Haiti. So far there is peace and quiet in Haiti, so the conditions are good. Pray that the political climate will remain calm so we can be in safety while in country.

Third, pray for our financial needs for this module. We need $20,000 to conduct a module, and so far, $14,000 has been given for Module 2. Pray that the remaining $6,000 will come in before we travel. If you have not yet contributed to this great mission, please pray about how you can help us with this need.

Thank you all for your prayers and support. The Haiti Bible Institute has been teaching truth since 2009, and the school has a great reputation in Haiti. Your support of this school is making a great impact for the cause of Christ in this needy country.
