Dear Friends of On Target Ministry,

Over this week, Anna and I and the professors will be traveling to Haiti for Module 8 and Graduation of Cohort 3 at the Haiti Bible Institute. This is a critical time in Haiti, and we need your prayers for the safety of the professors and students as we gather for the final module in their Bible education.

We still need $4,000 to pay for this module. It is very important that you pray with us that God will provide this need. The work we are doing there is bearing much fruit, and your support is much needed at this time.

If you can help us with an extra gift at this time, it would be a great testimony to the continuing provision of God for this ministry. You can send a check to Faith Community Foundation or Donate online.

We are at a crucial crossroads in our ministry in Haiti. The current climate of unrest has raised many concerns. However, at this moment we are still planning to go this October and complete the training of our Cohort 3 students and graduate them.

Please read the new newsletter and pray for us! We need God to intervene and make it possible for us to make this trip. God is great and can do this. God’s people can help us through prayer.

You can also help by giving. We have $10,400 for this module, but we need $20,000. So, your support is more important than ever!

Dear Friends of OTM,

We have returned from another successful teaching trip to Haiti. This edition of International Update reports on all the good things God is doing for and through the Haiti Bible Institute. Please read it and rejoice with us for the grace of God that makes this ministry possible.

We are starting our collection of funds necessary to pay for the next module which will be the Graduation Module in October! This module will be the culmination of four years of intense study of the Word of God, and the 15 men who will graduate have earned this honor. Already $4,400 has been received. We need a total of $20,000. It would be a blessing if you would help us by sending a donation. The easiest way to do this is to click on our secure DONATE button and send your gift.

Anna and I are so encouraged at all the progress we are experiencing in our school in Haiti. You will see from the letter that the plan to incorporate Haitian teachers in moving along very well. Praise God!

Dear Friends of OTM,

As the headline in this edition of International Update declares: God provided all the need for the upcoming Module 7 at the Haiti Bible Institute. Great things are happening at HBI and we are regularly using graduate students from our Master’s program to teach in the school. This is a testament to the faithfulness of God’s Word where God commands us to teach faithful men who will teach others also. This is now happening in the Haiti Bible Institute as well as in pulpits all over the nation of Haiti. What God has commanded, God blesses. We rejoice at your faithful financial support that makes this ministry possible. Thank you all!

We will be traveling to Haiti March 15. Pray for us as we jump through all the Covid hoops. Pray that God will keep us safe and healthy so we can go and return home without delay.

Dear Friends of OTM,

We praise God that once again we are able to travel to Haiti in February and conduct the next teaching module at the Haiti Bible Institute. What a blessing to have this privilege. As you know, we need your financial help to pay the costs of doing this module. The total need is $20,000 and so far, God has blessed us with donations in excess of $10,000. Will you prayerfully consider a donation to help us with the remaining need?

The students in Cohort 3 will be taking Module 7 this February. This means that they have only one more module to complete their Bible training. After four year of faithful study, these men have learned the truth that has revolutionized their teaching ministry and their evangelism in Haiti. When this class graduates in October 2021, they will bring our total number of graduates to 69. Just think of the impact for the cause of Christ!

All our graduates are involved in ministry. Many of them are pastoring churches they have planted. Some have dedicated their lives to church planting. Others have founded Bible Schools in their churches and are regularly training men for the ministry. This is a great testament to the effectiveness of the biblical missions model that God gave us in the Scriptures: commit truth to faithful men who will teach others also. (2 Timothy 2:2)

Pray for us as we travel. Pray for the professors who will be coming with us to teach. Pray for the students that they will learn and grow spiritually. God is doing great things in Haiti and you can be a part of it by your faithful giving and prayers.

This is the most exciting newsletter I have ever been privileged to write! Module 6 in Haiti at the Haiti Bible Institute was a great milestone in our progress and a sign that the brightest days for the school are still ahead of us. Please read and rejoice with us.

God is wonderfully meeting our needs and He is using your faithful giving to accomplish great things in Haiti. In the letter there are heart-warming testimonials from the four Haitian graduates who taught the students in Module 6. This is strong evidence that your generous support of HBI and On Target Ministry has been greatly rewarded by our Great God and Savior! To God be the glory!

A great day has arrived for the Haiti Bible Institute, and I want you to hear this amazing news directly from me. Please watch this video and rejoice together with us:

God has done wonderful things in Haiti through the school and through the lives of our pastor/students who are taking the Bible seriously and teaching what they have been taught.

Because we will be holding Module 6 in a different way, our costs for this module are greatly reduced. We still need to rent classroom space and provide an honorarium for our Haitian Teachers who will need to take time off work to prepare and teach. Dear Friends,

In this edition of International Update I explain how we are effectively using video streaming technology to maintain a full class schedule in Medellin, Colombia and other Latin American sites. While it is always better to be there in person, we are delighted that the students are able to continue their studies uninterrupted. We will be able to maintain continuous teaching online until this virus crisis is over.

You will also see a Coronavirus update for Haiti. Keep praying for our students there as they continue doing the work of the ministry. I have contacted several of them and they are in good spirits serving the Lord with gladness.

We are fully anticipating traveling to Haiti in October for our next scheduled modules. Pray that God allows this and provides the necessary funds to pay for the module.
